Women's Group - (Women of Influence Ministry)

Ministry Leaders : Denise Burnett, Julie Wong, and Jeni Nelson

Purpose of the ministry:
To become devoted disciples of Jesus Christ who can rightly divide the word of truth and who exemplify a godly life with our husbands, children, co-workers, friends, and neighbors.

Goals/Objectives/Tasks:
* To create a warm and accepting place where women can gather for the study of God's word and explore the issues that are unique to women.

* To mature spiritually and emotionally and then reach out and share the good news with others.

Present Needs/Opportunities:
Please pray that the Lord would give us opportunities to serve the community and our church; and that the Lord would grant spiritual breakthroughs to more women as we study the word of God.

Frequency of Meetings or Events:
*Every Wednesday morning at 10:00am at Denise Burnett's home in Sri Ukay.
*Every Thursday evening at 7:30pm at Seminar Hall, 7th Flr, Wisma Chinese Chamber.

Current Bible study:

1) Living Beyond Yourself. A video based Bible study with Beth Moore.
Thursday evening group

2) Knowing God ( starting on September 3rd)
Wednesday morning group
